FAQ

We answer all your questions!

Doing Pilates regularly will keep your body strong, flexible and toned. You will be less likely to injure yourself and your balance and coordination will improve. Emphasis on deep breathing, integrated with movement, can also help relieve stress and anxiety.

Reformer Pilates is a discipline for everyone. Beginners? We leave the choice to you! We have novices who start and jump straight into our group lessons! Our coaches adapt the resistances and offer adjustments so that you can follow the course and progress at your own pace. Others prefer to start in private classes to familiarize themselves with the machine and equipment.

Our Power Reformer Pilates class is our signature format! If you have any injuries or haven’t worked out for a long time, we suggest our Light Reformer course. Want to stretch a little more during your first lesson? Opt for a Power Stretch Reformer class – you won’t regret it!

As Joseph Pilates said: “After 10 sessions you will feel better, after 20 sessions you will look better and after 30 sessions you will have a new body.” Pilates should be practiced regularly, we recommend at least 2 sessions per week. 3 classes per week will allow you to stay in shape and 4 classes per week will shape and sculpt your body.

Absolutely, Reformer Pilates is for all ages. It increases muscle strength and bone density through the resistance of springs and your body weight safely, protecting your joints. Helps strengthen core muscles to help improve your posture and your balance in order to reduce the risk of injury. Our bodies were designed for movement, so it’s important to keep moving regardless of your age.

When your core is strong, posture improves, relieving stress on joints and muscles. This is one reason why Pilates is often recommended for those recovering from injury. Regular practice will help improve your flexibility, muscle tone and balance. Modifications can be made to certain exercises for specific needs.
